Before the show, Dapo Turbuna’s performance at the Felabration 2017 was hyped as Phenomenal and a pre-show rehearsal that thrilled fans to expect more during the major performance. And Dapo certainly delivered, running through a fiery performance of his hit song “Nothing” & his Latest single “African Lady”.

Surrounded by his bandmates and dressed in all black, DT ran through the tracks with supreme confidence and so much energy, Spotlights and Flashlights sparkled all above him.

Dapo was already having a great night even before his electrifying set. The Gingo Master was backstage with the presence of other label mates; Bella Alubo & Latest unveiled Tinny Entertainment Act, Damilare.

After a massive collaboration with YBNL Records Olamide and label mate, YCEE on his first single “Nothing”., his fans joined him in singing; “Eyan Le blow any gaddamn time, Eyan Le lowo any gaddamntime.”

As simple as the plucked guitar strings that introduced his debut hit single, DapoTuburna’s performance of “African Lady” was wonderfully straightforward, keeping the focus on an expertly crafted Afrobeat song amidst the pomp and circumstance of the performances around it. Dapo Tuburna, a highly successful songwriter, showcased his strong vocals and energy but the best moment of “African lady” was the subtle fire dance he flashed during the bridge — “she go dance fire dance, she go dance warapa.”
